Mixed isomers of the succinimidyl ester of carboxy-X-rhodamine (ROX). It is amine-reactive and is the primary labeling reagents for preparing various ROX-based bioconjugates. Derivatives made with the carboxy-X-rhodamine (ROX), succinimidyl ester are widely used for oligonucleotide labeling and automated DNA sequencing applications. Conjugates of this dye have longer-wavelength spectra than the spectra of Lissamine™ rhodamine B conjugate.
